We suggest every player bring some (just throw in your bag) - MANDATORY -ALL Players must sign SPN Online Waiver. This is found at registration.slo-pitch.com If you are a brand new team to our League please do NOT create your own team. The League will create your team and send notification to Team Captain to add their players. This is MANDATORY and MUST be done! If you are adding a player to your roster as a spare, they NEED to be added on your online roster BEFORE they play. This is a 1 minute process! - MANDATORY - Buhler Recreation Park is moving to become a cashless facility during these uncertain times to protect our staff. We are recommending that any transactions within the park is done with your debit card ( they do not accept credit cards ). This includes gate fees. We are recommending that teams purchase gate passes before hand and to distribute them to their team members. These passes can be purchased at the gate or canteen area. For your first visit only, Exact Change will be accepted at the gate. - RECOMMENDED - If you want to sit at Buhler Park or any other diamonds PLEASE bring a lawn chair. For sanitizing reasons Buhler Park has removed ALL picnic tables at the diamond area and dugouts will be blocked off - MANDATORY - All players must use the self-screening tool before attending their games. The self-screening tool is available here: https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/ -MANDATORY -Umpire will still hold “ground rules” with each team rep before the game with social distancing in place. Place 2 game balls and all your team’s bats outside team dugout (with USSSA Thumbprint logo facing up) for Umps it check without having to touch them. -MANDATORY - Game balls- EACH TEAM supplies 2 playable game balls, Worth HOT Dot only. Teams use there own balls while in the field and sanitize them when you come off the field to bat. Buhler Park and most over diamonds have Baskets by your dugout on the fence to put the game balls when not in use - MANDATORY -Each team must supply and possess hand sanitizer and/or disinfectant wipes and show the umpire at ground rules - RECOMMENDED- Each PLAYER should bring their own wipes and/ or sanitizer - MANDATORY -All bats must be displayed with the thumb print showing before the game for the umpire to check (so Umpire will not need to handle them) - RECOMMENDED - Players must wipe down bench areas and any poles that may be touched before AND after there scheduled game/s - RECOMMENDED - If using a porta party we HIGHLY recommend bringing wipes and wiping any area you may touch before and after use - MANDATORY -Sunflower seeds, shelled peanuts (or any other shelled food products) are banned from all diamonds and premises - MANDATORY - PLEASE be NICE to any League, Government or Park official if they pop but to talk about or remind you about the social distancing and sanitizing. If the League is made aware of any player/s being rude to any official they will be kicked out the that game and may be suspended from League play - MANDATORY - During batting, players will need practice social distancing in dugout and outside the dugout. The dug out will only be used by the on deck batter, and batter “in the hole” or participants can distance accordingly to space available - MANDATORY - Immediately upon the completion of the game, all members will leave the diamond area- you may go to the patio area at Buhler Park after games but please social distance - MANDATORY -Spectators must sit socially distanced from team members and other spectators - RECOMMENDED It is recommended that spectators be kept to a minimum - RECOMMENDED -It is recommended that children should not be left unattended while playing - MANDATORY - Teams must pick up all garbage after they are done their game/s Etransfers also now accepted for League fees You can etransfer to kildonansports@shaw.ca Password: softball Please put your team name in “message to recipient” The game itself will not change due to COVID but lots of changes will be made to help with player safety .
